McDonald’s Pitstop #0000001

Well, as you can imagine, internet access is limited on our driving adventure! But I have internet access in the most unlikely of places right now – McDonalds in Tours!!! There’s an iPad at our table as we devour our brunch!!
We’ve made good progress in freezing temperatures so are hoping Spain will be warmer!!
Fingers crossed we should be able to make the ferry from Algeciras to Ceuta tomorrow!

The bikes are ready and packed snugly into the vans and trailer.

We know roughly where we’re going…!! I think…!!

We have some in-flight snacks and (The Late) Mick, (skid-)Mark, Mel (nickname tba) & Gwion (Gollum) are ready for a driving marathon!!

We’re going via the Channel Tunnel, leaving the UK just in time by the looks of the weather!!

Internet access will be limited on the way down but I’ll try to keep you updated on our progress. Wish us luck!!!

Today Mick, Mark & Adam made all the final preparations on the bikes ready for their first big adventure!!

I wonder if they are as excited as their riders?!!

Tomorrow morning we will load them off & set off with 2 vans & a trailer for our road trip to Morocco!!

With dates booked and places filled, it’s time to prep the bikes and get the kit stowed away for Morocco 2013 with Mick Extance Kawasaki Experience. I don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to get these green bikes covered in Moroccan sand, rather than the Welsh mud to which they’ve grown accustomed. They should be ideally suited to the extreme conditions you can find in the Moroccan mountains, deserts and gorges. Roll on 25th Feb when the first tour rolls out of Ouarzazarte…
